Local reports coming in say the Mackerel are in thick as thieves. It's been pure pandemonium off Hampton & Seabrook beaches early am. And the reports around Portsmouth & the Piscataqua River are excellent too. Quality bass are being had and freezers are being filled.

The Department of Environmental Services and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service are mapping, controlling and planning to get rid of a plant called Perennial Pepperweed in the Hampton-Seabrook Estuary.
