Where's it happening?

New member here having little luck on the Squamscott in Exeter. Anybody out there doing more than practicing cast and retrieve, cast and retrieve, cast and retrieve, clip, tie on a different one, repeat, etc.? I see some chatter on the spinners' board, what about the fly guys?

Thanks,
Eric

I've tried it in the area of the Singing Bridge with flies and never done squat, maybe because the water is like chocolate milk there. I hear guys do well down at the RR bridge though...
Usually I'd rather hit Adams Pt or Hampton marsh though...

If your friend wants to use soemthing other than worms to catch bass, here is the secret:

Gary Yamamoto 5 inch Swim Senko's (I like Black or Green) Texas rig them on a 5 worm hook and bang the shore line. The Swim Senko is like crack to bass, it is almost too easy. Just cast it out and let it sink, if they don't hit it on the way down let it hit the bottom, give it a few jerks and reel it in a bit then let it hit the bottom again.

The Swim Senkos are expensive and not too durable, but they are worth their weight in bass!!! Also watch out fishing an area with pickeral, they will bite the paddle off of the swim senko.

Eric,
I haven't been out too much this year but i have caught some decent fish in the 22-27 inch range.
I've actually caught the majority on an egg sucking leech pattern and black wooly buggers in size 6.
We seem to be at a disadvantage because there are a ton of baitfish we're competing against.
Try and vary your retrieve, a little Oddball action seems to get me hits.
