Attachment problems?

It has been brought to our attention that some members are having problems attaching photos to their posts.

I have checked the settings and everything is correct, however I believe one of our custom modifications may be causing the "Invalid Thread" error for those with low post counts. If you're a fairly new member and/or have a low post count, you may be getting that error when you try to attach a photo in your post.

I have yet to track down the exact cause of this. But I have used the "test" account, and it is happening when using that account. I get no errors with my account, so this leads me to believe it has something to do with low post counts.

I will try and track down the cause ASAP. In the mean time, hang tight. Posting may help and the problem may go away once your post count reaches more than 10 posts. I hope find the cause soon.

Thanks much to those who wrote to make me aware of this error

If you are receiving an Internal Server 500 error when trying to Attach photos to your thread/post, it means your photo is too large (either size wise or pixel wise). You must resize the picture in order for it not to be over the maximum allowed size.

I've noticed that some of my cameras tend to not work even w/in the pixel parameter, but if I use the pict. resizer that you put out there I have had no trouble loading my pict. even on the first post. It might be some of the language in the newer memory chips above 2GB. Hope this helps.
