Stupid Things, Seen Or Done

I apologize if this is a repeat post but what the hell.
Last year I got to PI just before 1st light and I noticed a small boat moving along the beach in tight to the shore. Not really an uncommon site. It was an aluminum boat maybe 16' with 3 people in it. They get right in front of me when suddenly they bang a right and come flying right into the beach. 1 person is trying to get of the boat so I gave HER a hand. I said what are you trying to do. She says I'm just trying to get away from those 2 idiots. Then 1 of the idiots says where's Plum Island? I said this is Plum Island. Where's the river? I said it's right there on the other side of the jetty. The girl says those f'ing idiots we were just in there and we hit some rocks 2 of us went overboard and the boat was talking on water. She said they called the coast guard but the phone went dead because it went in the water too. She was freezing so I told her to go to Surfland and use the phone there. Well by now the boat is sitting parallel to the beach and getting swamped by waves. The prop is sitting in the sand and the guy puts it gear and guns it. Time to walk away from this mess and get back to fishing. Before long the coast guard showed by sea and by land along with the Newbury police. All their shit was floating around in the surf. If that's not enough they were using a borrowed boat.
That's just what I'd do if my boat was taking on water, head back out to sea. They didn't even know where they launched the boat from.
