it's just not the way things are done in this forum, the admins work very hard to keep the site the way it is so we (the members) are able to do our thing. advertisements are to pay the bills so we can have our community. even those aren't enough and many members contribute their own cash as a donation for the well being of the site.

as brandon said if you are interested in posting a link then you need to get in touch with merrillizer.
