silly trout

welll hit the river yesterday!!! boy was it a nice day... it took a lot of looking but we did have 6 confirmed hookups and maybe a few more... we ended up bringing 3 fish to hand... what a great day to be on the water... doesnt seem anyone else did much that we saw. I figured for sure that the rivers were going to go nuts seeing as the water temp is up about 6 degrees in the last 5 days and hell it was almost 60! but neither the fish or the fisherman were out in fource...

Nice work!

I saw that the Lamprey was still running very high and thought that everyone and their brother would be where you were.. glad to hear it worked out for you! I ended up going to the Pelham fly fishing show, which was even smaller than I had remembered.

Yup!!!!!!!!!!! That's where I wanted to be, but had other things that were required of me. May make a run at it Wed evening or Thursday morn, at that area I sent you a pict of. Just above that you can keep em too! I fished the above for an hour in the snow last week and got NOT!
