Have spent the last two days on the BR, thought I would end up somewhere else today, but didn't like the look of plesant lake and Mendums pond was closed at the UNH entrance. And the cool spot on the lower BR was sort of open. On the 5th hole I finally struck pay dirt. Big BG. 12 total threw back 4. Much better than yeasterday, although yeasterday was funny. I have my kids poles in rod holders for some of the extra poles. Well, yeasterday Lighting MacQueen, tried to abandon me. I saw the pole go off and I was about 20 yeards away. as I got there the pole up-ended itself and dove into the water. Being a man of reaction, not thought, I followed it in with my hand believeing that there was no hope. But when my hand came back up it had in it the pole. I was also able to land the offenting 14" pickeral attached to said pole. And that was the only fish of the day.
