That is a great fish and a great pict........Those 3 lights look familiar....... Wish I could take a pict like that, last week had a 10 pound lob that I had to release, but thought I would snap a few shots before it left, all I got was my ugly mug and the back of the bug.....I suck

CW

The night fishing has been pretty good, around the top of the tide, I was goiing to go last night but of all things was too sick to go. May try early am tomorrow morning.

I fished the harbor both Saturday and Sunday morning. Both days I found fish right away. Saturday I started tossing a small spook and they wouldn't touch it, switched to a jig, wouldn't touch it. Finally switched to a slugo and picked up a few fish biggest was 27". Found fish Sunday morning in the same place. This time I a started with the slugo and would you believe they wouldn't touch it. Very frustrating. I picked up 1 fish on a berkeley power bait eel and another on a pencil popper. Had 1 good fish explode on the popper but never touched the hardware. Later on I went down to the Merrimack and tossed some clams from the back of the boss'es boat and picked up a few schoolies. Overall a pretty disapointing weekend for the amont of fish that were around. They were chasing something very small. New hatch of something?

The bait was probably less than 1 inch long. It made ripples in the water similar to small rain drops. I could not tell what it looked like. I've seen this before on Joppa and couldn't get the fish to bite then either.

Fishing piscat, on Saturday it was slow about a dozen, Sunday was much better and Monday we did real well with about 35 fish, and 3 over 30". Yesterday was good till the temps and wind made a drastic change about 1p.m.
