Hasta Lasagna Don't get any on Ya

Well boys my next post will be from Kill Devil Hills (bad ass name) North Carolina. It been real and it's been fun and it has been real fun.

And I hear from very very credible sources that it's on like donkey kong out front since the storm settled. I tried to sneak out but got a serious tongue lashing.

So if you're sitting home with nothing to do I would take a cruise down 1A. If no obvious signs of feeding are going on then take a couple of casts in some sexy looking water.

We made it. A long drive and rush hour throgh DC was no fun. I can walk across my street and fish for spot, puppy drum, and some winter stripers. Walking the other direction from my house I have access to miles and miles of open ocean surfcasting. A mear walk or an even lazier 2 second drive. Haven't wet a line yet, just making the house comfortable. The dog is loving the fenced in back yard. The nights are cool mid 60's and the day have been around 80 with a slight breeze. I'm heading out to a local B&T to get myself set up to start fishing. The big drum are running here and I am hoping to hook up with some locals to get and idea what the f to do. Hopefully I should have some fish porn shortly.

I have heard the fishing is still mediocre at best and hit or miss still for you guys. Night eeling has been effective on the beaches and the occasional school have been popping up. In addditon peanuts have appeared out front but relatively unharassed, which imo is unheard of. Looks like the season may last into november and not get good until the very end. My source up there sounds pretty disappointed.

Bring on the Porn

Glad to hear you made it well.

Fishing here is ok, Big critters moving around off shore, but not too far off shore. I think they are still around here in the river. Lot's of bird action in Hampton, still in the harbors and the cormeants are taking fish of 6" or more in the marina, pogie or hering I can't tell, they swallow them too fast.

You have to send pict's of the drum!
