Spiny dogfish limit increased!!!
It is about time, the spiny dogfish commercial limit has been increased. These fish are no longer considered overfished. I read it this morning on NH fish and Game's website.
It may be old news but it is good news for the rec guys like me. I hope more commercial guys will target these and leave the cod alone. That wish most likely will not come true, but atleast the dogfish will be thinned out some (I hope). I should not shoot my mouth off since I am not an old salt. But I have heard simular gripes that there are simply too many of these fish around. How do others feel? |
