Judd Gregg to Commerce Dept.

Rumors are that Sen. Gregg will be appointed Secy of Commerce in the Obama administration. He has been a longtime member and chair of the Senate Commerce Committee and a friend of recreational and commercial fishing as such. NOAA and NMFS are under the Commerce Department. Think Judd Gregg will be good for the nation and our fiseries? I do.

Yes. He would be my first coice and he will be far better to Comercial fishemen than most would. He bent over backward for our aquaculter projects at UNH. Would be nice to see some of that 400M that just went to NOAA.

Gregg dropped out, couldn't agree with Obama's policies. I'm shocked! (not really) It's too bad, I think Gregg could have done a good job.

Well, ...........................That probably puts the final nail in Open Ocean Aquacultre coffin for a while. Gregg would have worked hard to keep that going, but with all the dimwitted activist out there comparing Off Shore to regular aquacultre the system is F'ed in the A. Too bad, we were on the verge of proving you don't even need to feed the fish out there if the cages are set right. ( A ZERO CARBON FOOT PRINT WITH A MONETARY RETURN). Yeah, we wouldn't want to be interested in that.
