NH state regulations - disabled individuals

So, we had all trucked over to the taxadermy off massabesic lake last week to get papers....

Was Jackattack, my sister, dad and myself....

as i purchased my fishing papers for the year, i decided to pose the cashier a question....

for you see, my sister is 20years old and mentally disabled....

so i asked if she knew if there were any kind of state regulations for the disabled when concerned with fishing papers....

she did not know, and forwarded me to fish and game central in concord....

so, before i call those folks up, i figured i would ask if any of you folks knew anything about it....

i can't imagine in the hundreds of years NH has been around, that there hasn't been any legal stature addressing the disabled and fishing....

If indeed there isn't, i might have some kind of project to see if one is create-able

now sure how everyone else feels about this issue, but in a perfect world, i would imagine that the disabled would get some kind of discount on fishing papers (not free like children, but less then full price) and would need to be with a paper carrying adult for animal and their own well being.....

thinking similar to the regulations for children and hunting, where children may hunt with paper carrying adults, etc etc

so, any information?

thanks guys

I think that would be great idea and would be in favor of a law like that. Either way free or reduced amount for there license would generate more actively and hopefully get people out to enjoy the outdoors with little financial burden. This would open the doors for physically challenged and mentally challenged people.

I believe the England started these programs like this a couple years ago and there are a few states that already proved this service in the US, that are free or the fee's are a lessor amount. If you are interested in starting a bill and need help let me know. I do have a daughter that works for Easter Seals of NH and most likely help also.
