I had the experience of going to Judd Gregs office a few weeks ago, and boy was I impressed!!!
I was asked by Eric Orff, a retired wildlife biologist, and currently a commisioner with the New Hampshire fish and Game, if I was willing to acompany him to the Senetors office in order to represent sportsmen from the seacoast area. Eric new about my passion for protecting our seacoast, my interest in Striper fishing, and the River Herring restoration. So... I met with Eric and Catherine Bowes, the northeast regional manager for the National Wildlife Federation who was working towards Global warming legislation. I had heard a little about Senator Greggs good works, But I honestly had no idea... upon entering his office, there is a map of New Hampshire that shows all of the projects he has pushed for, especialy reguarding the care of our coastline and Great Bay. His strong commitment to the health of New Hampshires environment is clear by his actions.... He has earned my vote. Jim |

Earmarking funds gets a bad rap sometimes, but give Judd Gregg credit for making sure NH gets our share of "pork". At least it has been "green" pork that permanently protects thousands of acres of our state's special places, not bridges to nowhere or asparagus subsidies!
