08 Seacoast buck

Sorry for the late post, shot this deer a week ago, right here on the seacoast, at first light I was sitting high in a nice big pine, as he followed his nose to the scent bombs I had put out, I made the shot with my trusty T/C Black-diamond, shooting T/C 250grain shockwaves. I heard the deer go down from my stand....then the hard work began!! set up the photo/camera before I started the field-duties-

Nice deer Scotty. You are doing well this fall.

When Mark shot his deer Tuesday we had it pegged as a two hundred pounder. A true two hundred pound deer has no ground shrinkage after they are gutted. The front end will match the hind end.

After Mark gutted his buck I saw the hind quarter had ground shrinkage.

180 was the best we could get out of L&M's scale. We are going to be in Hampton hunting today. If we get one we will take it over to Defiant Lobster and see OTW.

You still have an M tag and archery tags? Get out. It has been a heatwave out there.
Enjoy.
