I don't know if anyone is interested, but it looks like NH F&G just came out with a podcast. I haven't listened to it yet but it sounds like a good idea.

New Fish and Game Podcast Brings Outdoors to Your Earbuds

CONCORD, N.H. -- Looking for New Hampshire outdoor news, talk and information that fits your busy schedule? Listen up, because N.H. Fish and Game's new free audio podcast, Fish and Game Radio Diner, has the latest on New Hampshire's great outdoors and recreation opportunities at Wild New Hampshire on Your Schedule! - N.H. Fish and Game. Podcasts are web-based radio programs that can be played on your computer, or downloaded for listening on an iPod or other mobile device.

For each episode of Fish and Game Radio Diner, host Judy Stokes, communications director of N.H. Fish and Game, sits down for a lively chat with the professionals who work behind the scenes to protect and manage New Hampshire's fish and wildlife resources.

"Our folks work with fish and wildlife all day long, so they tell some pretty wild stories," Stokes said. "They also spend a lot of time in New Hampshire's outdoors, of course, so they've got all the latest info and insights on how things are going in the field."

Fish and Game Radio Diner podcasts feature seasonal topics ranging from hunting and fishing forecasts; outdoor tips and strategies and places to go; wildlife watching opportunities; and the latest news and research from the field to help outdoor users better plan their time outdoors.

Recent research from the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press shows that people have been moving away from traditional media like newspapers, radio and television to Internet-based news sources like podcasting. Podcasting use has been growing quickly, with the total audience for podcasts increasing by 58% since 2006, according to the Pew Internet Project.

N.H. Fish and Game's current podcast features small-game coordinator Julie Robinson, hunter education coordinator Pete Davison, fisheries biologist Ben Nugent, wildlife biologist Ted Walski, Lt. Todd Bogardus, and moose project leader Kristine Rines. Each episode of Fish and Game Radio Diner also includes a preview of upcoming events and tips on places to hunt, fish or watch wildlife close to home.
