Anyone know any local lobstermen out of Hampton looking for any help? My roommate is looking for work. Thanks!

The only help most of the lobstermen need is cheaper fuel, cheaper bait and higher prices. Oh, and since we're making wishes, how about a mass drowning of nitwit environmental lawyers. They now want to do away with all vertical lines to lobster traps to protect the right whales. Anyone got any ideas on how to do that economically without buying a diving bell or minisub?

Vote them out (the environmentalist) You and all the rest have a say 11/4/08. Environmentalist used to care about the enviroment, now a lot of Awhipes who clame to be enviromentalist are just a bunch of bitchy people whose life are some how unfulfilled (probably from not spending enough time in nature) and they have to make sure that every one else is just a F---ing miserable as they are. ![]() ![]() ![]() I originally hail from Calif. Where the a-hole enviros are thick. you can't have petrol power because that's bad for the enviroment, you can't have hydro-power because that's bad for the enviroment, you can't have nuke power because that's bad for the enviroment, you can't have wind power because that's bad for the last 25 remaning Calif condors. Next active solar will be bad because we are depleting our geranium and silicondioxide reserves. Apperently what these pimply headed SUV driving (and all drive by themselves), a-monkeys would like you to do is live in a TP and freeze every winter, while they drive long spikes into trees. ![]() ![]() Sorry, my friends TP is for wipeing not sleeping in. Yes I'm not big on the neoenvironmentalists. I have spent a lot of time in nature and studying it. Most of these people couldn't give you three species genus names if you ask them too. They believe what the politicians tell them, and they tell them that things are bad for their side. And the politicians are useing these people as a political sheild, and the sheild is ignorant as all get out. How can you be mad about something you don't even understand? What people should understand is that some change is good, infact necessary. But if you were to listen to that A-whipey Gore (who by the way has a mansion with a 2,400 $ as month electric bill that they rarely use, "Do as I say") the sky is falling now. It is not, we are certainly doing bad things to our enviroment but his interpertation of a miniscule amount of data is very skewed to his means. He's just a washed up egomaniac that has been drubbed out of politics (how is that possible?). And Speaking of politics. follow down.
Nobody up there right now has our intrest in mind, that's how I feel. Some are way worse than others, but that is essentially saying a murderer is worse than a violent assualt, robbery criminal. They are so deep in poo that you can watch video of them lying and then they denie the video proof, and we dumb asses (as an ignorant society) go right along with it. If we don't vote for a better set of people up there and don't call them regularly and write letters and e-mails. Then we are complicit in our demise. I'll be irrationally (really rational, but unPC) angry about this until at least the election, and probably far after. ![]() Oddfish Last edited by oddfish : 10-13-2008 at 09:41 AM. |

Oddfish hit it right on the screws. Enviros will use the right whales to end ALL commercial fishing, and when the last boat is tied up they will move on to something else. Do you really think they will do anything positive to help a species that is on its way out? They probably harbor deep seated guilt that their great grandfathers were whale barons who hastened the demise of this race and now want to make today's fishermen pay. They need to tread softly, because when you take away a person's livelihood and identity they haven't got anything left to lose.

I think you might be giving them too much credit. I think most of them are just mad at their parents becasue they told them no about something, sometime in their spoild life.

OK guys. So if I want to see the wright whale protected, I am some how an envoronmentalist yahoo ultra liberal bad guy, Or is it just their often radical, sometimes hipocritical viewpoint is where you have the problem?
I figured that nature lovers who have their hobbies and livings based on the sustainability of the ecosystem would see environmentalists more favorably. I would classify myself as someone who wants to protect, and manage our ecosystems for future generations to enjoy, and prosper from...Isn't that an environmentalist? and if so, what is so bad in that?....I guess the difference in a radical environmentalist, and my own theories, is that you have to manage the species on todays terms with the understanding of mans interaction with those species rather than just having a "hands off" attitude aspoused by the radicals. |
