The word is Rye is producing sporadically as is PI - worms, beachfront and nothing to brag about. Further south it's pogy heaven in the Haba; Cranes is producing better than PI but like most every where it's been hit or miss. When I have the time (once a week) I've been fishing PI hard at night - nothing for my efforts. Once keeper couple of weeks back inside the Mack - not much else.

I've been putting some time in...but not my usual standards. Hit or miss seems to be the key words. Once you find em they tend to show at the same tide stage for a few days and then you gotta start looking again. No peanuts on the beach so very little obvious feeding going on. It's funny I've seen more people out over the last two weeks than I have all season and the bite was really good a week or two before. Lots of disappointed people out there. Gotta fish the night tho...night time = right time.
