Fall Run Bass Pluggin

Welp I took my first fish in two years home. Sadly I severed one of her gill rakes with a treble hook. I landed her bleeding and exhausted but it's fine eating. This is actually one of the smaller fish from over the week end only 37" about 18 lbs. She fell for old trusty blind gibbs pencil. Only RiverJim knows what color.

Nice catch, I love using plugs to catch stripers.
I made it out last night on the parker river and fished cranes beach with eels and caught nothing! Really good night weather wise but the fishing wasn't so good. Heading out to boston haba tomorrow, hopefully I can lose the skunk....

I dunno Coleman there was a 49" on a needle fish the day before.

Haba should be good, been hearing really good things. Check the Nahaunt area if all else appears dead.

I'll have my camera when we go.

What are the best tides for fishing NH's shoreline? I have limited beach experience.

Getting myself a pair of Korkers.

It depends on what tide stage they are biting in, however often times you just need to find the right combination of structure and depth of water. For instance 1 spot was producing on the high while the other was producing on the low. Trial and error. I would suggest spending the extra $20 and getting the strap style instead of the lace style korkers. Even better would be to go to KTP pick up a pair of the $30 felt bottom wading boots they have on sale and ordering some self tapping screw in studs. The combo of felt bottom and studs is ideal out there. Korkers can bog you down but the boots provide comfort and mobility.
