HarryG's new sneakers and the Rockweed Beach

Met up with HarryG and Craig at the Rockweed Beach last night at dusk. The bass were there and slurping silversides. But when they are on small bait like that they are hard to catch. I flyrod with a streamer would have done the trick. The bass hit the water so hard it sounded like someone throwing rocks.

Harry and Craig pluggin' it.

We did land one striper on a live eel.

Harry's new sneakers had back up lights. That was in case they get stuck in the mud. Then he could see them.

LMAO. I remember one time I wore sneakers fishing, and the owner of the boat posted pics on another fishing site, one of those Joizey elitist sites. I never heard the end of it. The ZeeBass / Van Staal plier Elitist Crew couldnt stop giving me shit Like cowardly little brats they made fun of my kicks, but the funniest thing of all....they never post pics of any good quality fish Lots of commentating, but NO BASSIES!

Moral of the story, where whatever the fuck you want fishing. You dont need $600 waders and 1200 dollar reels to catch quality fish. As long as those Kick-Lights are facing to the rear, you're A O K!

I know the type. Don't get me wrong i got all my gear but the conditions didn't merit me putting it on for style points. My shirt was actually on inside out too so I'm f'ed there. Anyways it was nice meeting the Coalman. Eels prevail again.

I don't know................. Turn the kick lights the other way and it may attract the fish. Some of the best fishing I had last year was under a light on the PIS at 0400. I had to stop fishing because I was injuring too many schoolies. (Moral of the story , Try casting overhead backwards) Hell this year It couldn't hurt.
