Piscataqua Sunday morning

Black Duck I was there yesterday too expecting to see bluefish and birds breaking the surface. I was also disappointed from what I saw.

I saw the boats at 2 KR and there were a bunch over at the Navy Yard. But I never saw a bent pole. You are right about the river being busy. It never quit.
Made me appreciate the Bay more.

This wasn't you getting stopped by the Coast Guard was it?

Oddfish, which one is yours?

NH's finest were out in force.

The only thing I saw these people catch were crabs.

One thing I did notice on my scouting trip was all the places I visited were not accessible after dark. All the signs said dusk to dawn.
I think NH fisherman should say something to our F&G about opening the state parks to fisherman at night.

The highlight of my trip was watching this tall ship pass Fort McLeary on it's way into the river.

Perhaps there are a few exceptions.

No it wasn't me. The Marine Patrol and the CG were all docked and listening to the radio when I was there inspecting the new UNH pier on the way out. They were still there on the way back in. Never saw one of the 4 boats on the water in the 7 hours I was there. Could have used them from what I saw. CRAZY folks out there.

I generally avoid such popular places like that and say the mouth of the Merrimack on a nice sunny weekend day. However, with my boat down here all summer and in the shop I kind of have to go when friends are able to. When they are going and offer to take me I go.

Whisch one is mine

Coleman,

In your picture, my personal boat is on the far right tied to the bigger white boat which is the boat I work on.

We went up river with kids and friends on sunday, so not so much fishing, but We did see poggies at the entrance of little bay.

I'm with you guys abbout the CG needing to be out yeasterday. That was one FUed river for nutty boats. Just plain scary at times.

I saw you and the family as I was exiting the gate. I'm the guy that opened the swing gate in the middle. You had kids, wife, coolers and fishing poles.

I looked when I left the USCG Station at where those people were fishing off the dock and I saw you went down to the boat that was double parked.

I'm thinking it was about 10:30 AM.

Do I have that right?

Yes you do, and now you see why I have no fish to talk about; 4 kids under the age of 6 ( not all mine) and nutty boaters. we did not fish too well, I thought about stopping on the poggies in little bay but a quick check confirmed that there were about 6 boat coming from 6 different vectors. We bailed and went out in front of the CG on the Ocean side. Took a swim and dropped 4 lines. I was a little supprised to not get something in there.
