Boat Fire early Sunday Morning @ cove marina

Definitely a situation that could've gone from good to bad in a hurry. I
video taped this as we were awoken at about 2:50AM... Right out in front
of my boat... Fire burnt for more than an hour.

No one got hurt and only one boat was damaged/destroyed. The owner
had just gotten back from fishing and had been taking a shower in the
boat house... Twin Gas engines. The shell of the boat is over at Bridge Marina.
Surprised it didn't explode...

Quite a vid. That's a shame that nobody helped the guy Walk up the dock to shower and walk back down to see this

A few folks from my side of the marina ran over with extinguishers.
They got over there and no one else had them out... The boat owner
was the only one with a hose in his hands. Poor guy lost the whole boat...

The water on the docks is high pressure. The hoses spray a lot of
water. If my two boys(7 & 10) weren't with me I'd of been over there.

I know from the folks that went over with extinguishers that they were
surprised that the folks on that side weren't trying harder... It seemed
like it was taking a long time for the hoses to make it out there. Maybe
time was just going slowly. Seemed like a long time though.
