Nice Fish Lost
Hooked up with a real nice fish last night around 2:30 am in Salisbury. I was plugging eels around the huge grass banks there for about an hour landed 2 fish in the high 20 inch range then threw a cast near a morring ball about 20 feet off of the grass bank and got slammed. the fish had to go 35 lbs or better as I had it with in 5 feet of landing it 3 times and on the 3rd time when it turned to run again the hook came out like a bullet in slapped me in the chest

Don't feel bad...It happened to me this morning as well. Nice plump fish we were trying to net. Kept diving went she neared the boat. Couldn't net her.
My last try had her on top of the water. Net ready, one last shake of the head and she pulled the hook. 40" fish all day long... I can't stand these tides... They suck bad. Gotta get some sleep. work keeps getting in the way |
