so i went eeling last night for the first time... when working the flats with eels do you dift the flat, anchor up, slow troll them, work the edge. i just tried drifting the edge.... then over the middle.... then a rip that formed....... than by a grass island.... i had some luck
i mainly left the eel out there to do its thing... i did try the cast and slow retrieve for a while with no luck... i had fish EXPLODING all over a little popper that jimi gave me... i must have had 30 crashes on it.. no lie at all, no would take the hook however ![]() any advice on where on the sand flats to work the slimeys would help |
