so i went eeling last night for the first time... when working the flats with eels do you dift the flat, anchor up, slow troll them, work the edge. i just tried drifting the edge.... then over the middle.... then a rip that formed....... than by a grass island.... i had some luck

i mainly left the eel out there to do its thing... i did try the cast and slow retrieve for a while with no luck...

i had fish EXPLODING all over a little popper that jimi gave me... i must have had 30 crashes on it.. no lie at all, no would take the hook however

any advice on where on the sand flats to work the slimeys would help

I'm not big on anchoring myself lol, well there is one spot on the Pissy-scat that is built for anchorin' Slow troll with an electric motor. If you don't have a trolling motor, don't bother. At that point I would just drift, drift along the banks. Cast towards the grass and see what's happening along there. You can cover a lot of water this way.
