Enough said, I'd hate to lose blackduck because he has been a contributing member of the forum and I enjoy reading his posts. But it is what it is and if your feelings get easily hurt maybe the forum world just isn't the place for you.
My feelings aren't hurt. I just don't see the need for the hostility nor the swearing and felt there was some pretty serious overreaction by a few folks. We live in the seacoast area of New England. There are no real secret spots anymore. Chances are someone, somewhere, knows your spot. Sure, I could take my ball and go home, and pout, but if I do that how can I teach you guys to lighten up that it is just fishing we are talking about. It isn't like this is duck hunting. Now THAT is serious business.

Guys, I am a LONG tiime internet forum veteran. I am a moderator on waterfowl and truck forums. You guys are like new born babies compared to those sites. Hurt my feelings you say? Ha. That's a good one. You haven't even come close to seeing a "spot burn" argument until you have seen one on a waterfowl forum.
