Striper fishing seems to be picking up a bit here as the dog days of Summer begin. After quite a slow start all-around, the Striped Bass numbers seem to be increasing. It's no wonder that upriver Striper fishing suffered this spring in New Hampshire area due to the abundant amount of bait fish out front for the Striped Bass to forage, including the large schools of mackeral and the schools of pogies that were reported in May! Now that's some serious bait fish. Check out our reports section for info and chatter on local striper fishing in New Hampshire and the surrounding areas. Also check out a recent thread from Pete Jr. at Defiant Lobster Co. about fishing worms for stripers in the marsh! New Hampshire area fishing reports are good. Some large bass have also been reported from the NH surf. More soon....
